Additional sizing information:
If you unzip the main compartment and open it up to make a circle, the aperture is around 12 inches in diameter. It's quite spacious and should fit a fair amount in the main compartment. There are small pockets inside for small items.
The two outside velcro pockets are separated down the middle by a seam. The width of each pocket is approximately 9 inches, they run about 13 inches down and can bulge outwards 5 or 6 inches.
